Dr. Nick Thome

Dr. Nick Thome didn’t always plan on becoming a dentist – his first career path involved a little more tackling and turf. But after a college football injury and some quality time in the dental chair, he discovered that dentistry was the perfect way to combine everything he valued in healthcare: science, service, teamwork, and meaningful connections (minus the concussions).

A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dr. Thome went on to complete a residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, where he received advanced training in oral surgery, prosthodontics, and complex care. He’s passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles – whether that means restoring function, relieving pain, or simply brightening someone’s day.

Dr. Thome believes great dentistry starts with partnership. His approach is evidence-based, high-quality, and always centered on each patient’s unique needs – delivered with empathy and genuine care.

Outside the office, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, at a sporting event, or enjoying the outdoors and live music. He loves spending time with his beautiful wife and two children, and visiting family back home in South Dakota. He’s always up for a good laug h– just maybe not while you’ve got suction in your mouth.
